Derby & Derbyshire Rail Forum today has over 100 members.

We provide the following benefits to our members: 

  • Marketing to domestic and international markets to develop and expand the Rail Forum activities and identify new business opportunities for Forum members.
  • Working with national and local government to continue liaison between local MP’s, MEP’s, Government departments, relevant local, sub regional partnerships, and the Regional Development Agencies (and new Local Enterprise Partnerships). 
  • Co-operating with other industry bodies and associations to identify market opportunities, and develop wider trade links with the UK and overseas.
  • Organising topical workshops and seminars that offer opportunities for knowledge transfer and networking between members and other parties. 
  • Being first port of call for members with a dedicated Forum Coordinator and a team of elected Executives who provide the membership with support and advice on the issues affecting the industry and businesses today. 
  • To direct our members towards training opportunities and funding
  • Annual Conference – Last year saw the 5th Annual Conference held in Derby which allowed the Forum to cover all aspects of the industry and promote some of the successes already achieved.
