Aims & Objectives

DDRF represents the largest cluster of rail companies in the world

The Derby & Derbyshire Rail Forum has the following objectives:

• To act as a forum for rail related businesses in the East Midlands
• To generate awareness of our members and their products and services
• To help members market their products and services in both the UK and overseas
• To provide a forum for informal networking
• To create an environment where best practice can be shared
• To facilitate, where appropriate, the ability for members to work together on commercial opportunities
• To develop members contacts across the railway industry and with key stakeholders in local and national government
• To alert members to industry developments and commercial opportunities
• To promote the East Midlands as the world's largest cluster of rail related businesses
• To direct our members towards training opportunities and funding
